Secrets and lies
Told in youth
with no thought to the lives
That will be rocked
to the core
by the utter shock
not to mention sheer horror
Of the depth of this betrayal
behind the truth that
is this lie told in the youth
this secret to hide
that I despise
For bound am I
to keep this lie…
To protect the innocent
born of this lie
whom I love upon high.

They call them justifiable lies…those white lies, innocent lies and this case protecting the innocent. Sometimes they are told, many times they should be untold and most time we live with the secret and pain….I’m all over this, direct and glaring.
